How to Add Meta Description in Blogger (Blogspot)?

Enabling Meta Description in Blogger (Blogspot):

Go to Blog Settings > Search Preferences.

Click the Edit Description button under Meta tags.

Point Yes to Enable Search Description and enter a brief meta description of your blog there. (max 150 words). Remember it will be your blog's homepage meta description.Now Click on Save changes.

Adding Meta Description to Individual Blog Posts/Pages :

1. Go to your Blog Posts and click Add a new post or Edit the existing ones.
2. Click Search Description option under Post settings. (This option appears only after you enabled search description, discussed above)
   
3. Enter the meta description for the post and click Done.

For older posts, you have to go back to edit each post and manually add in the description.
